In the beautiful landscape of Lake Garda and in the middle of the Parco Alto Garda Bresciano nature park, we rent two holiday apartments in the village center of Toscolano Maderno in a quiet, beautifully renovated house (is under homeland protection).
The holiday home Casa Marsilva is modernly furnished, has central heating for the off-season and winter, is in a sunny location and offers a view of the countryside. From the large, covered roof terrace (in the upper apartment) you can see the old roofs of the village center, the mountain Monte Baldo and the lake. The nearest beach is about 300 meters. More beautiful long bathing beaches are located on the lake promenade from Toscolano to Maderno (4 km). There are good shopping facilities (supermarket and specialty shops) in the immediate vicinity. There is a bakery and a small, good restaurant just around the corner.
You can go on hikes directly from the holiday home to the nearby Toscolano valley, to Monte Castello (900 meters) and Monte Pizzocolo (1500 meters). With the car ferry and the ship you can reach all the beautiful towns around the lake. The cultural cities of Brescia, Verona, Mantova, Padova and Venice can be easily reached by car or train in around 1 to 2 hours. The thermal baths at Lake Garda, in Colà and Sirmione, reachable by car in about 1 hour, invite you to swim and relax in the off-season.
The climate at Lake Garda is mild, from March to October the climate is ideal for hiking and excursions, from June to September you can relax and swim on the beautiful beaches with water temperatures of 20 to 27 degrees.

arrival and departure
Check-in from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. For arrivals after 8:00 p.m., be sure to inform us well in advance and a fee of €40 will be charged. Check-out time: until 10:00 a.m You are asked to let us know your approximate arrival time a few days before the start of your holiday. We also ask you to call us about 1 to 2 hours before arrival (see telephone numbers above) so that we can welcome you at the holiday home. We will show you the apartment and hand over the keys.
Rental Conditions
The tenancy is considered complete when half of the rental price has been paid into the bank account. The balance is to be paid in cash upon arrival. Other payment methods are to be agreed with the A. & S. Guldimann family or the M. & E. Michel family. If the booking is prevented or canceled (up to 7 days before the start of the holiday), the deposit paid will be refunded. The rental price includes all additional costs, as well as bed linen and towels, the costs for heating, electricity and gas, visitor's tax and final cleaning.
Arrival - information
You can reach Lake Garda and the town of Toscolano-Maderno by taking the Milano-Brescia motorway (exit Brescia Ovest). Continue towards Salo - Gardone until you reach Toscolano-Maderno. Drive through the whole village of Toscolano-Maderno until you see the large church of San Pietro e Paolo on the right at the end of the village and the square of Toscolano (with monument) on the left. Staying on the main road, continue for about 50 meters and turn left into a small alley at the brown signpost reading Borgo Alba Chiara. Follow these brown signs to Borgo Alba Chiara. After about 100 meters, instead of continuing to follow the signs for Borgo Alba Chiarazu, turn into the gravel-covered private courtyard. You are now in front of the Casa Marsilva holiday home at Via Trieste 16. Holiday guests who drive over the Brenner Pass to Lake Garda reach Toscolano-Maderno via Riva - Gargnano.
