Holiday home Villa Stauder
Villa Stauder is located very close to Rome, in the Castelli Romani region. This area, just outside Rome, is ideal for vacations, with its long, warm summer, which lasts from May to September, with average temperatures of 28°C. Spring and autumn are very mild and invite you to hike and relax in the countryside. The Villa Stauder holiday home is set in a 2-hectare park with ornamental plants and an olive grove (over 200 olive trees). The holiday home offers beautiful views of the surrounding area and the sea. Surrounding villages and small towns, such as Lanuvio, Genzano, Albano, Castel Gandolfo, and Ariccia, are located on the wooded slopes of the Alban Hills, with beautiful lakes and vineyards, all just outside Rome. It is one of the most beautiful areas in the province of Rome and is well worth a visit.

Arrival and contact information - Info: from Villa Stauder by train to Rome
From Villa Stauder: Visiting Rome by train, from the nearby train station, or by metro To visit Rome, it's best to drive to the nearby Campoleone train station (7 km from Villa Stauder, approximately a 10-minute drive). Shortly before reaching Campoleone station, you'll come to a large roundabout with various roads branching off. Right next to this roundabout is the Tabaccheria (marked with a large T) where you can buy parking tickets for the parking lot at Campoleone station. You can also buy train tickets to and from Rome here (check opening hours). The address is: Tabaccheria Di Stefano, Via Nettunense 3, Campoleone. Phone: +39 06 92 78 541. The parking ticket, valid for a whole day, costs €3.50 (as of 2022). Train tickets, but not parking tickets, to Rome can also be purchased from the ticket machine at the train station itself. To reach the large parking lot at Campoleone station, you must drive over a bridge that crosses the train tracks. After parking your car, an underpass takes you to the train tracks. For train departure times (from Campoleone to Rome usually every half hour), you can find information at: www.trenitalia.it You can also reach the center of Rome by metro from Villa Stauder. In about 20 minutes by car, you first reach the ring road around Rome and then the Anagnina metro terminus, on the outskirts of Rome, right next to the ring road. There is a large parking lot (including covered parking), and metro trains depart every few minutes for Roma Termini station, Piazza di Spagna, and the Vatican. Renting a car is necessary to explore the Castelli Romani area and the sea, to reach the shopping centers in the nearby town of Genzano di Roma, and to get to the nearby Capoleone train station, where fast local trains take you to the center of Rome in approximately 23 minutes. Getting to Villa Stauder The Villa Stauder holiday apartment is located in the rural surroundings of Genzano, in the Castelli Romani area, and is easily accessible from the nearby Rome Ciampino Airport (15 km), as well as from Rome's second airport (Roma Fiumicino). From Rome Ciampino Airport, drive approximately 15 km towards the towns of Albano, Ariccia, and Genzano outside Rome. Once in Genzano, take Via Monte Giove Nuovo towards the sea. After about 3 km, turn left onto Via Montegiovetti. Keep right and after about 500 meters, you will reach the private road Via dei Villini. At the end of this road, turn left onto Via Montegiovetti. The Villa Stauder holiday home is located on the 1st street (large gate at number 17). Please ring the bell at the entrance gate. We will welcome you there, show you your holiday apartment, and hand over the keys.
