1. General information about boat trips on Lake Garda

Relatively few boats operate longer routes on Lake Garda, so be sure to check departure times. Many scheduled boats also offer the option of transporting bicycles. The timetable indicates which boats offer this service.

2. Worthwhile excursions by boat

All boat trips are worthwhile. Nevertheless, we would like to highlight a few here. The boat trip from Toscolano-Maderno via Gardone and Salo to Garda and Sirmione is very scenic. This makes a lovely day trip to the beautiful Sirmione peninsula. Another lovely boat trip is from Salo via Gardone, Toscolano-Maderno, Gargnano, Malcesine, Linome, and Riva. Riva has a beautiful beach promenade and an interesting old town. On the eastern shore of Lake Garda, a boat trip from Peschiera to Lazise, Bardolino, Garda, and Torri is worthwhile. The car ferry from Toscolano-Maderno to Torri allows you to significantly shorten the trip around the lake, especially during busy car traffic in summer.
